About us

Building the infrastructure receipts have been missing.

We are on a mission to end paper receipts and put a secure, privacy-first network in their place — one that carries a receipt from the business that issues it to everyone who legitimately needs it.

Our story

Why we started

Cheqi started with a simple, familiar frustration: losing receipts.

Every business trip followed the same pattern. Paper receipts piling up in my wallet, taking photos of them along the way, and later having to dig through my camera roll to find those receipts among all the other photos from the trip — only to still fix expense reports by hand because OCR never quite got it right.

But the deeper I looked, the clearer the real problem became. Receipts are scattered everywhere — paper receipts in your pocket, PDFs buried in email inboxes, downloads hidden behind merchant portals. There is no single place where receipts reliably come together, which makes automation almost impossible.

Cheqi changes that. We built Cheqi to be the missing layer: a secure, privacy-first infrastructure where receipts arrive automatically, are stored in one place, and can be shared only when you choose. By making receipts digital by default — without sacrificing privacy — Cheqi unlocks automation for consumers, businesses, and merchants alike.

Our values

What we hold to

Privacy first

Your data belongs to you. We can't read your receipts, and we never will. Privacy isn't a feature — it's our foundation.

Security by design

End-to-end encryption, cryptographic integrity, and zero-knowledge architecture. Security isn't an afterthought — it's built into every line of code.

Simple and accessible

Powerful technology should be easy to use. We make digital receipts work seamlessly for consumers, businesses, and merchants alike.

Our mission

Every receipt digital, secure, and private.

A world where people never lose an important purchase record, businesses stop chasing paper to close their books, and merchants give a better experience at checkout — all without anyone having to give up their privacy to make it work.
